WHO WE ARE:
Women from all walks of life. New riders to riders with 30+ years in the saddle. Our current riding and passenger membership lives in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and Delaware.
WHAT WE DO:
- Offer encouragement and support for new riders
- Stress safe and responsible motorcycle ownership and operation
- Have monthly meetings and group rides
- social events
- Trips to 'fabulous' destinations
- Offer camaraderie
- Raise funds for and support breast cancer research through:
- The Pony Express Relay
- Mid-Atlantic Women's Motorcycle Rally
- Baltimore, Maryland's "Race for the Cure®"
MORE ABOUT US:
Our Club started in April of 1991 by 6 friends local to the Philadelphia area after returning home from a motorcycle festival for women. Excited and filled with ideas, notices were sent out in the Philadelphia area and to women who had attended the Women's Motorcycle Festival in New York. We decided to shape our dream after two clubs in the northeast. In only one short year we grew to 25 Full members. You may find any one of us living within a 250 mile radius -- we currently span 4 states!
Our meetings are held monthly at either a member's home or at a local restaurant or diner. Each month we try to rotate the region where the meeting is held, so are routinely held in all areas where our various members live. Official Club rides are usually planned for April through November, with both day and overnight trips. Look closely though -- you'll see us out there all year long. We've had members ride through almost every state in the continental US, so you may see us turn up anywhere!
Whether you're a fair weather rider or you brave the elements throughout the year we have something to offer everyone who's interested in motorcycling.
